*Happy St. Patrick's Day!* THE ULTIMATE TALENT CONNECTION'S (TUTC) SPRING FLING COMPETITION, Superior, Wi is this weekend. We want to wish all our teams, duets and solos good luck and go for the platium. With TUTC Competition and the Spring Recital coming up there have been lots of requests to use the studio to practices for these events. IDC Policies for Studio Rent Times & Fees You are to clear this with the director, Margaret. You must have an adult with you at all times if under the age of 18. For safety reasons. You are to write down your studio use request on the big calendar on desk in lobby area. This way everyone is informed on who has what days and times approved. Studio rental fee is $15.00 hour (60 minutes) for all individuals and groups or $7.50 for half an hour (30min.). Write studio rent, day & time of use and put in black payment box. Solo, Duet, Trios IDC's policy for dancers who want to do a solo, duets or trio for our spring recital. Dancers must be taking two regular weekly classes plus two private lessons with an instructor of own choice. One routine, 2 minutes long. Please inform director of you plans. This is a privilege! Dancers must have good class attendance to be allowed to dance a solo, duet or trio for our upcoming spring recital performance. Margaret will need to hear the music, see a print out of the lyrics (dancers must supply this) and see the dance moves for approval before it is added to the program. You must dance your piece and get the original music to Margaret ASAP to be edited and put on the master recital CD. DON'T WAIT! GET GOING!!	Recital Costumes Recital Costumes are starting to come in. All outfits should be in by the middle of April. Your account balance must be PAID in full before your child receives his/her costume. NO EXCEPTIONS!! Father/Daughter Dance Our second practice went very well, awesome job dads, uncles, grandpas it was a blast!! Our third practice is scheduled for Saturday, April 17th at the dance studio. If you've missed the first two sessions and still want to be involved you need to show up at this practice session. After this third practice session we will not be allowing any more new people. Due to the huge response this year of 36 dads, uncles and grandpas we had to break up into two groups. Group #1 is for everyone that has a girl dancer ages 4-7 years and Group #2 is for everyone that has a girl dancer ages 8-up. Practices will be as follows: 10-11 am Group #2 (older age group); 11am-12 noon Group #1 (younger age group) If you have signed up and have changed your mind not to partake in this wonderful experience with your daughter, niece or granddaughter, please let Margaret know so she and Joan can adjust the choreography. Recital Costumes for Sale! We have a number of costumes (new and used but in great shape) for sale. Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Funk and Tap for $10.00 - $20.00. Please contact Margaret for more details. Class Cancelations! When the Ironwood Public Schools cancel classes or dismiss school early because of inclement weather or icy roads, IDC will most likely cancel classes also. However: Weather and roads are sometimes clear into the evening, classes may still be held. Classes will be made up on a scheduled date if canceled. Please double check with local radio stations and/or our web site for any changes!!		*We are missing a pair of IDC Black Shorts, size adult small, and a pair of Pink Tights size child medium, whoever took them would you please pay for them!!* Spring Recital Performances Mark you calendars. Spring Recital dates are Thursday, June 10, Friday, June 11 and Saturday, June 12, 2010 Important Information * Monthly tuition payments are due the first of each month. A $5.00 late fee will be charged to your account if payment is not received by next statement date. Please write child’s full name and what payment is for with each payment. Birthday Parties Hey kids! Have your next party at Ironwood Dance Company Hey Moms! It’s easier and you’ll never have it any other way again! Have your next party at Ironwood Dance Company. The two hour party features a professionally trained instructor leading the kids in crafts, games, dance and all out fun! We provide a clean, safe atmosphere for your party and you don’t have to worry about this fun messing up your home. The first hour is reserved for fun and entertainment and the second hour is for refreshments and opening gifts. You can treat yourself and your guest to a unique birthday experience that will be long remembered and have you ready to book your party for next year too! Treat your daughter 9 & under to a traditional party or a fantasy theme party. Traditional Party: $75.00 IDC provides the entertainment, you provide the rest!! You can decorate with balloons and streamers. You’ll need any decorative tablecloth you like to put on the table we provide along with one or two plastic tablecloths for our Indoor Birthday Picnic. Theme Party: $150.00 IDC provides crafts, entertainment and supplies, you provide the refreshments. Themes to choose from are: Princess Ballerina, Cheerleading and Sleepover. A non-refundable deposit of half the total amount is due with registration to hold your date. The balance is due the day of the party. Refreshments can be whatever you choose to bring. Be creative. Most people bring cake, ice cream, chips & dip or even pizza can be delivered. It is up to you. After snacks we join in the Friendship Circle for a lesson in birthday giving and receiving. If time is available, we finish our party off with one more game to leave everyone wishing they could have their party at Ironwood Dance!!
